Change of Historic Proportions

2020 has been a year of change for Sonicu. Not only has the company continued to expand and hire key new staff during the heart of a global pandemic, we also managed to completely move our entire team into a new location adjacent to the historic Greenfield Courthouse (above). This was necessary to accommodate our exponential growth rate and ensure that a steady supply of Sonicu monitoring products is always available.

Deciding to stay in the heart of historic downtown Greenfield, we were able to find a great building for our growing company in 2019, just a few blocks from our old HQ and well suited to support our current and future needs. The new building is also an important piece of local history, as it opened as the Riley Theater in the early 1920's, named for Hoosier poet and Greenfield's most famous native son, James Whitcomb Riley.

Our building was subsequently converted to office space during the 1960's, and we revised the building's floor plan during our remodeling to accommodate the specialized workspaces needed for our engineering, production, sales, and customer support departments.

Although the move is only a few short blocks from our old location, it took a tremendous amount of planning and preparation to pull the move off without disrupting ongoing operations. Our amazing team members all rose to the occasion to make the transition a smooth one while maintaining full production and customer support schedules during the move.

Our new offices were designed and built over the course of 2019, and are located at 11 American Legion Place in downtown Greenfield.
