Jason Young Joins Sonicu as CTO

Jason Young has been closely involved with Sonicu's technology development since 2009, and we welcome him to his new role as Chief Technology Officer.

Please join us in welcoming Jason Young to Sonicu in his new role as Chief Technology Officer.

Jason will lead all aspects of Sonicu’s software and data science technology development, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Jason has been closely involved with Sonicu’s technology development as a consulting engineer since 2009, and expects to move quickly with enhancements to the SoniCloud platform’s user interface, due for release in the near future.  

CRO Joe Mundell says: 

“We are very pleased that Jason has joined the Sonicu team in a full-time capacity. Continued investment in our team members provides huge benefits to our customers, as we continually strive to provide the most cost-effective and efficient cloud-based monitoring platform in the industry.”  

Jason looks forward to talking with Sonicu customers to get to know them and identify feature requests or other improvements to the Sonicu platform. Jason explains:

“We rely on the voice of the customer to provide valuable input to help us improve and expand the platform capabilities. Because I believe these interactions are the best way to ensure customer satisfaction, I strongly encourage customers to reach out to me with any suggestions or feedback that will improve the user experience”.

Jason holds a B.S. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University with a concentration in artificial intelligence.

Before joining Sonicu full-time, Jason was a Senior Data Scientist for Duke Energy, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for some of Duke Energy’s biggest operational areas.
